With reference to our location in Sofia currently we are looking for:
Expert Product Cost Engineering with focus on electronics
Your job:
- Take the lead through the Target Costing process to derive Target Product Cost in projects;
- Working in an interdisciplinary team being responsible for determination of product cost within PDP and other projects with a focus on benchmark and best practice evaluations including required documentation especially for products containing electronic components and electronics production processes;
- Derivation of cost reduction measures working in projects, taking into account the design for automation approach and state of the art industry standards;
- Train and guide design engineers to ensure production-friendly design, component selection and layout;
- Consistency and plausibility checks of cost calculations created by third parties or in SAP including deviation analysis;
- Set-up cost simulations/analyses for Global Footprint scenarios;
- Calculate PCF assessments working in projects and for series products.
Technical Competencies and Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;
- Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge in German language will be considered as advantage;
- Familiarity with ERP systems ( SAP) is an asset
- Very good command of MS Office;.
Professional Competencies and Requirements:
- Proven expertise and practical experience in production environment, engineering or R&D at least 3 years;
- Experience in industrialization/production of electrical devices, electronics products or pcbs with reference to product costs will be considered as a serious advantage;
- Understanding of manufacturing and engineering principles and concepts.

- Capable of making fast decisions and taking the responsibility for the results in dynamic and changing environment;
- Very good presentation, consulting and training skills
- Focused on the added value for the internal and/or external clients;
- Team player, able to work in a multicultural working environment;
